Vols Fall Practice #9Sigh…I would love to hear about who is looking good at practice so far.
Since the subject of nutrition has come up again, I'll toss out one that kinda blew my mind...
I recently had my first kidney stone. While searching for remedies, I read up on the herb phyllanthus niruri, and started drinking a tea of it several times a day. Don't know where I am with the stone, but the crazy thing is that after 2 weeks or so, my fasting glucose dropped 15 or 20 points.
Because I am genetically at risk for cognitive decline, I try hard to keep sugar down (it's a risk factor). I'm not diabetic, but mine stays stubbornly high (fbg is often 100-110) and I've had little luck moving it. To see fbg in the mid 80s is not normal for me, even taking Metformin.
Had brunch today, omelette with a nice order of breakfast potatoes...2hr postprandial sugar was *86*...unheard of for me.
Not sure what the impact to a diabetic would be, but anyone with marginal sugar should be able to benefit. It does take 2+ weeks for the effect to kick in, but it's absolutely been worth it for me.
Otherwise stated: The committee ruled that he will not be suspended this year. They did not suspend him for next season, either. And there is no reason to expect them to suspend him next year either.Committee pushed decision to next year and May suspend him for more than 4 games
The article I read said that agreement was made but the final committee had to sign off on agreement. They refused to sign off because of discrepancies and wanted to investigate further.Otherwise stated: The committee ruled that he will not be suspended this year. And there is no reason to expect them to suspend him next year either. Lying to the NCAA is okay at Meatchicken, it appears.
The NCAA is so crooked. This is why people don't want NIL regulated. Because there is no worthy candidate to enforce it justly and honestly. None.
Well, sure. What did you expect them to do, tell the truth? Harbaugh is stonewalling them. They have the evidence that he lied. Harbaugh is saying he doesn't remember telling those lies, which is stupid and not relevant. The article I read said that agreement was made but the final committee had to sign off on agreement. That contradicts your first post (93,656). They're throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks.BTW, Harbaugh should not suffer any consequences on analyst’s coaching. Every team does it and teams were told last fall that rules against analysts and QC coaching would be eliminated this spring. Committee then proceeded to keep rule in place this spring.
That would be necessary for a reader to arrive at an informed opinion and to meet the bare minimum standards of honesty. But it would fail as a joint public relations press release for Michigan and the NCAA.No, why would that be necessary. The article focused on Harbaugh lying to investigators and some on final committee wanting more information.
No, it does not. The discrepancies were in his testimony not with the analyst issue. My post on analysts was a separate issue relating to all teams that is why I put it in a separate post. That contradicts your first post (93,656). They're throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks.
Is Simpson’s performance lining up with the concerns people on here has with him? I know there were some but don’t remember what. Played in a weak league?Bama is in hot water in their QB room. Ty Simpson had multiple interceptions and strip sacks (2) during their scrimmage. Looks amazing in practice then collapses under pressure with zero pocket trust or awareness.
Milroe threw 3 TDs and multiple INTs. Word was 2 of the TDs were the receivers making the insane play to snag it, not Milroe making a good read/throw.
Buchner is getting better but still behind the 8 ball from transferring. Also apparently has had issues getting comfortable with Saban's coaching style.
The trye freshman Lonergan has been the most consistent but there's questions about how often he's been allowed to play against the 1s. Rumor is the second scrimmage he might get more reps against the 1st team due to his performances.
Also, Georgia had 7 turnovers in their first scrimmage.

Totally agree on Kiffin. Only left his name in because the OP I was responding to used him as an example.

So Spurrier/Rhule/Kiffin etc are all mediocre coaches who must have cheated in college since they struggled in the pros?
