Most impressed that Butch is throttling down rather than ramping up the excuse machine. We need to at least show incremental improvement this season. That may take a little luck with keeping our starting lines healthy though. I think this offensive line may be a bigger Achilles heal than many imagine. They are sliding true freshman from Defensive side over there already as possible backups. I'm not sure Weisman has been 100% yet, anyone know?

Jashon moving has always been a possibility... I don't think it was motivated by panic.

Gotta agree with this.

I like coach Jones alot but, imo, he would have some difficult decsions to make if we only win 4 this year. His staff would have to be....adjusted.

It sounded like the move was based more on his skill set. Ideally, you'd like a guy to stay in a position to learn all the nuances.

And this is why we are where we are at now. Everyone expects miracle turnarounds, and if it does not happen in two years, fans start to call for the coach's head. Almost 60% of our roster have never played in a college football game… Let that sink in. Our roster is in that shape, because of constant staff turnover and terrible recruiting by the previous regime.

With that said, I expect six wins minimum this year. However, if we have less, then I will not be off the Jones wagon. He has proven too much on the recruiting trail to not give him at least 3 to 4 years. If he can get that roster last year to five wins, and had the chance for seven, then I fully expect he can get this younger, but more talented and faster, roster to at least six wins this year.

Is there a forum that lists all of the free message boards sites like this? Preferably teams that we might play this year or teams we are in on a recruit with. I spend time daily sifting through all of the Google options and find mostly pay sites. I know Freak and the mods go above and beyond on this site and I appreciate that. I have not came across a free site ran nearly as well as this one. I would do the research and compile a thread, but I do not have enough posts yet. Thanks fellas..... WORM OUT :hi:

Mods move from thread if necessary, not sure if this was the right place.

I won't call for CBJ to be fired if he does not get the team to a bowl game this year. Next year I would. No bowl game this year and IMO recruiting takes a substantial nose dive. The local kids would still be bought in but outside the state of Tennessee, it would be very easy to negative recruit for ANY school going forward. Less than 7 wins(8 with a bowl game) in 2015 and IMO the staff is in deep trouble.

Ya, it seemed as if most scouts said he could play DT or OG but he had the most potential at OG.

Also with Mixon, Hendrix, and Barnett getting looks at DT along with Sawyers and hopefully Mosley gets healthy along with the 2015 DT group and how thats looking, OG is probably more of a position of need.

I'm pretty sure Hendrix and Barnett are working exclusively at DE at the moment. Not that that means too much before full lads go on anyway.
