FYI...I talked to Directv today, and the representative did tell me that Directv will be offering the SEC Network. Got some more info too...it will be on channel 611, and it will be included in your package, if you have the Choice Xtra package and above. Thought I would let y'all know.

One other thing, looks like we will be on the 13th football talk thread by the time the season kicks off...great way to end our terrible streak of bad luck over the last 6-8 years. The rise continues in 25 days.

I'll say this, the pre and post-game festivities in Oxford is a great experience...the Grove *ahem* lives up to its reputation. Anything and everything in and around the Vaught-Hemingway, however, is how I imagine it is like at a large Texas High School football game...because that's what their stadium resembles, a nice [Texas] high school football stadium.

In other words, she has only a vague idea of what it's like to really experience SEC football.

I know!!! I've gone with her to a couple games and I'm always like yeah this is a nice little football organization you guys got going on here. Real cute stuff. Go Rebs.

I can't wait til she truly understands the magnitude of the sea of orange. Good grief I can't wait.
