Butch and Gillespie are complimenting the ish out of Hurd. He must be doing a lot right. I think he's really going to break out this year.

Everybody sleeping on Lane and Hurd. They gon learn soon what UT is about. Also, I think Kelvin Taylor out of UF is a really good back.

The USU game is not even going to be fair. Anyone who is halfway worried needs to just chill. We fittin to wax that azz and I will be there for opening day with two of my kids and my mom to witness. There is no other possible outcome. We have more talent, better conditioning, and better coaching.

I'll settle for a game like we had against W. KY. :)

Opening game. Holiday the next day. Work a day. Celebrate wedding anniversary the next day. Then leave on a high school reunion cruise. Pretty good week except missing the second game. :(

Nah this team will look much much better. They'll actually look GOOD and not lucky. We'll look like they shouldn't be on the field with the Vols!!! :)

I have confidence we can beat Utah. I just need there to not be any, Aaron Murray scrambling for 60 yards for a fluke, busted play type play. Plays like that are what kill teams.

Were you at that game? We literally took the ball away from them half a dozen times. It was ridiculously fun!

(*for those that don't know, I'm .mil*)

Found out yesterday that due to "work related commitments", I'm going to quite possibly miss the first three games of the season. I'm hoping that I can get some sort of wi-fi so I can use VN to at least keep up with what's going on.

Break down the % of carries you think TN RB's will have this season. If you think a player gets injured, you can factor that into your statistics as well.

Lane 55%
Hurd 25%
Scott 10%
Young 5%
The rest 5%

Hurd closer to 40%. Unfortunately, Lane is always banged up. Can't see him averaging 20 carries per game, or so, over a full season

Team speed on D is gonna be much better.

Just concerned about youth/inexperience on D, busted coverages and poor angles for tackling.

Don't think it'll be much of a factor against Utah St. though. Hope they can get it cleaned up and corrected by the time the heavyweights come around.

The attention also comes from the fact that those kids are playing for winning programs. Alex Collins is a beast, but you don't hear much because he plays for Arkansas.
