Don't know who I'm picking there. TAMU is gonna be better than people think.
I think Worley is the best option, but I could see why people want Dobbs to WIN the job. The main reason being that he has two more years left and if he comes out and were to play well this year, it would make everyone feel much better about the QB position the next two seasons.
This is pretty much my opinion on the QB situation. We are probably much better off long term if Dobbs could take the job and do well now, but Worley appears to be the best QB right now so he'll be the starter.
It will be substantially worse than last year though, and they almost lost several games last year that their three first round picks bailed them out of. They were a few plays away from 5 or 6 wins.
I disagree. Sumlin is a QB guru and they have several talented WR's still, plus a great class coming in.
We were a couple plays away from 7 wins, but it doesn't work like that. That's how the game is.

JONES: And we are announcing our new starting QB today.... @austindillon3! #Vols #BattleAtBristol
Will anyone be shocked when CBJ announces that JDub will be the starter? I for one am glad he is announcing so soon. Now the rest of the team can line up behind one leader and take direction from the appointed field general rather than having to adjust to multiple guys taking the snaps with the 1's. I think this will help with the consistency and accuracy between JDub and the receiving corps as well.
Evan if they lost JUST Johnny, they'd take a step back on offense. Add to that two other first rounders, no way they can maintain. I don't care how good Sumlin is, their offense will be worse.
And offense is the only thing they have, like all Sumlin teams. Add to that Ole Miss and MSU, having their best teams in a long time, and you have a recipe for a bad season for TAMU. JMO
