They're doing both. People are talking about the QBs spraying balls all over the field in passing drills with no defense. All you have to do is watch the practice videos to see it.

This. If they're inaccurate against air they'll be even worse against SEC defenses.

Just went back and watched some practice highlights from fall practices 6 and 7 from last year. Pretty cool to watch and see just how different the team is now compared to a year ago. Like I said in my other post when looking at routes against air, nothing but comebacks, drag routes, and fly routes. With that said, it really is something to see the speed difference between those highlights and now. The tempo of practice is so much faster, while the stuff they are doing at least looks more difficult. The accuracy isn't the greatest now, but it does look better in these highlights compared to last year. If you got a volquest sub. it's really cool to see.

Wow - I was called a Negavol back in the Dools days. But this thread is in free fall that direction. They are still 3 weeks away, gang. Did you really expect happy horsecrap from Butch about practice at this point? He is not a kumbaya type coach. He will use every resource and trick in the books to get those guys totally focused and working harder than they ever have. Let's save the handwringing over the QB situation until we actually see them play in a game this season.

I believe the QB situation is being blown out of proportion by CBJ to challenge Worley and Dobbs. Let's give it a couple more weeks before we write off the QBs.

CB Vernon Hargreaves Injured At Practice

During the 10th period of Florida's 17-period practice on Thursday evening, sophomore All-American cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III was hurt after a routine tackling drill turned into a 25- to 30-person scuffle on the far practice field at Florida's Donald R. Dizney lacrosse stadium. Hargreaves came out of the group of players limping, then went to the ground writhing in pain. He was helped off by two trainers to a medical tent while putting very little weight on his left leg.
