Does anyone remember watching Aaron Murray throw a long ball and wondering how the hell that guy was a starter for UGA? I can remember him playing UT and thinking if this guy had touch on his deep passes we'd be down 4 td's. Well we have a poor man's version of that but we have Hurd instead of Gurley. We have TE's now and a FB formation. Anticipate less thrill but more consistency and I believe these QB'S can deliver in that regard. Especially Worley because he does have poise and seems to have respect of the team.

Sounds about right. Good post.

I'd rather have a QB with arm strength who can throw the deep ball and let our WRs go get it and if not, it falls incomplete.

With a lack of arm strength, our WRs have to come back to the ball, it falls incomplete or is picked off.

IMO That's why Dobbs is a better fit for our WR's. Plus he can run, extend plays, and improvise and throw on the run. Let our WRs make the plays.

I could be totally wrong but Dobbs doesn't seem to command the offense. When Bray was the young gun in you could see some of the players gravitate to him. Maybe I am unfairly judging him because of the particular games and scenarios he was in. Mainly it's the Vandy game and 0 passing TD'S until KY. That last one expecially. I don't understand how that happens.

Arm strength is the most overrated physical attribute. It's like the long drive in golf.

Give me the guy who can deliver accurate throws under pressure and leads his team.

One of the strongest arms in the last 10 years was Jamarcus Russell... The list goes on and on....

Mind you, we're talking about college.

Russell was a great college QB.

Well, all of that hype about Worley over the summer seems to be summer hype, as usual

Scrap my projections from last week and count me firmly in the very concerned crowd again

Hello

How freaking strong is Jalen Hurd, not just for a freshman but for a running back of any classification? Hurd lifts with Corey Vereen, Jaylen Miller, Kendal Vickers and Coleman Thomas.

Hubbs

Is this the one that Moseley picked off against North, or was that a different one.

"AS THE VOLUNTURNS"
Episode 6

I'll be honest, I skipped a lot of the post-practice hand wringing group therapy here, but sounds like it was one HELL of an episode. Riveting!

Now that you mention it, I do recall that.

Personally, I'd rather they go with the guy the coaches are comfortable with and not the guy the fans are comfortable with. Of course, this sounds like a "duh" statement, but so many fans have a favorite. I like the coaches' favorite.

The play caller needs to have confidence in his players. I think we saw a strong lack of confidence there last year, particularly with Dobbs.

QB is really concerning. With the way our team is setup, good skill positions and a weak line, we really need someone that can just be accurate, play smart, and avoid turnovers.

Its something we were bad at last year. And if there hasent been improvement its going to be frustrating to watch.
