To be fair, his speed hasn't looked 4.37 to me either. I'm hopeful it shows up as he gains confidence.

Getting hammered behind the line every other play probably wears out his legs. I bet if he breaks one loose early he looks faster. All his big holes have been 2nd half. That one where the OU DB caught him was late in the game too, hope he gets one early so we can see his fresh speed

Wasn't there either a Utah state or an Oklahoma defender that kept having to come out after tackling Hurd?

In every game we have played this year, players that have tackled Hurd are limping or slow to get up. I have not seen a freshman rb punish opposing players like him in some time.

If he had an injury free year I'd say you were right. He would have to really light it up the rest of the year, which I would be okay with!

He values an education after what he has been through not to mention no one outside of TN has heard of him. I think he is a good player for us, but staying another year will only help him
