This game will tell a lot about Dobbs and how well the offense can score points and keep up with South Carolina's offense.

Auburn's Rushing stats on South Carolina's Defense.

Cameron Artis-Payne 25 carries 167 yards 6.7 ypc 1 TD
Ricardo Louis 3 carries 102 yards 34.0 ypc 1 TD 75 long
Nick Marshall 10 carries 89 yards 8.9 ypc 3 TD 37 long

South Carolina could not stop the read option and I expect us to run that early and
often and that should allow the passing game to open up. Jalen Hurd (assuming he's 100%) should have a big day and Dobbs should be able to get some big yardage.

You do realize that we will now come out and throw it 50 times, while only running it 20 to 25 times, right?

I just found out my son has basketball tryouts on Saturday starting at 6:30. Are you freaking kidding me!?!?! Do you guys think a 7 year old is old enough to walk a few miles somewhere and walk back on his own?

I kid, but man I'm not happy about this at all.

Silver lining...not during a football game :)

Everything seems so much more difficult than it should be

I understand them letting multiple OL get looks at different positions, since we are so thin...in case of injury again. However, why is it so hard to come out and say these 5 are who will be starting Saturday night due to past success the previous Saturday?

Ugh... almost had two tickets to the UofL/FSU game tomorrow night. Guess I didn't respond to the email fast enough and someone else beat me to it.

The Bama game was the O-line's best game of the year, IMO. Why change it if it's working? Which it looked to be. Only 2 sacks allowed if I recall.

Because, well, Jake is Jake. I am convinced if Thomas was ready he would start by Robertson. 180 yards rushing against a top 5 D allowing 65 yards rushing per game going in while only giving up 2 sacks - time to change if you ask him.

I thought Coach Jake called a good game against Bama, the AJ run on 3rd and 1 was a little ehh, but other than that he called a great game.

Jake had better moments than in the past, especially with the quick passes. He actually called a quick slant or two that he would not call for Worley. However, Dobbs made him look better than he actually was because he did not hang around, he was out of there if the primary and secondary were covered.

I agree. I'm sure a lot of that is Dobbs mobility, but still they got some push. The only change I would really like to see is Coleman Thomas at center.

That has to be his future. Maybe his time at OT will toughen him up for that position.

Agree on Dobbs. Whatever works, though.

I think Thomas is injured. Ultimately, he'll end up there though.

Wait you meant 630 PM not AM! That is criminal!

Yep, just one hour. I should be back at half time, but there is nothing like watching it live. Plus, I won't be able to have a few beers in me.

Get a Go Pro and put it on your kid...then you are the ultra cool Dad. Tell Mom it is a new way to improve performance. She needs to take him while you set up the system at home...

Pure genius! You are welcome :)

JMO, but if I'm Michigan, I'd give a really long look at Kyle Whittingham of Utah. Is it a sexy hire? No. But the guy can coach.

He's 82-40 at Utah. 7-1 in bowl games. Defeated Bama in the Sugar Bowl in '09.

Makes right at 2 million a year. He's a defensive guy through and through. He's coached with Gary Andersen and Norm Chow.

There's only a couple of downsides that I could find to Whittingham. He's 54... Little old but nothing major. He's also a Mormon. I have nothing against Mormons, but I feel like it would be overblown at Ann Arbor. I just think the media would use that as a dark cloud over him.

And the last drawback I found, was his recruiting numbers. Since 2010. He has only pulled two top 40 classes. And it seems like each class since 2010 is getting progressively worse. In 2014, he signed the 67th ranked class. In 2015 so far, he's sitting at #55 with 17 commits.

Just a name to throw out there.

Peterman puts his arm really far back when he throws. He has a very slow release because of it. Anyone else notice that?
