CBJ from today's post practice session.
(On Justin Worley's health) "He is still a work in progress. He threw the ball a little bit today but not the velocity he is going to need yet. But he took all the mental reps, didn't miss any reps in terms of overall but it is just the velocity right now. We still have until the end of the week but if we were to play the game right now he wouldn't be able to play."

First picture is of Worley handing the ball off..so I guess he's practicing? If that's the case I wouldn't be surprised if he played Saturday. Anybody heard anything on VQ/247?

If butch can get SC to even spend 20mins of practice on prepping for Worley then its worth the deception

I know this is probably the consensus at this point. But I have no interest in seeing Worley play QB for TN again this year unless it's because Dobbs has us up by 25 or 30 points late in the 4th.

If he is healthy enough, Worley will get the start on senior day. He deserves that atleast.

Interesting to compare Butch's response to the potential job opening and Mullen's response to being asked about the UF job.

In a way, I feel like Mullen's over the top "I absolutely love this state and school and my family belongs here, etc." to be more insincere than Butch's quick dismissal. It seems like coaches always say that before they jump ship or ADs say it about coaches before they fire them.

Worley practiced last week too. He just didn't throw, only handed the ball off.

They'd spend more time prepping blitz packages and less time working on spy packages and ways to contain a dual threat.

I guess I don't entirely understand this connection to Michigan that everyone is trying to make. Butch was born and raised in Michigan but so were a lot of other people that got out of there as quick as they could. Do you know many people that retired and moved from Tennessee to Michigan?
Butch played at Ferris State in Michigan but has never played for or coached at Michigan. People need to get over this silly crap. He's where he wants to be.

I hope the Ferris wheel folks don't come a callin. He be gone for sure. His alma mater tater.

Majors did win nine at Tennessee. He won 11 in 1989... Actually had several 9 win seasons as a coach.

Obviously it's already been answered, but I was strictly talking about their second year as coach.

I was calling Majors a successful SEC coach.

Willie Mack Garza was a D coordinator at Pearl River CC. He was the one under Kiffin that bought a plane ticket for seastrunk(?). I don't know if that's who the article was talking about because I think he's now at TCU. But he was headed to USC with kiffy when the NCAA stuff came up, and he took the fall for it.

I asked Swain about the LT spot. Seth Stokes said that for anyone to say that Kerbyson would start at LT after yesterday's practice would just be guessing. Said they worked the linemen at lots of different spots. They (Swain/Stokes) think Kendrick will stay at LT.

Also shows that the punishment for signing autographs for money is less severe than taking money for your daughter's medical treatment. Effin corrupt NCAA.

There is no doubt Jimbo and Florida State is covering for their players. I think the whole Tallahassee community, including the police, is in on it as well. Florida State is quickly becoming a very dirty program.
