I think it's more likely he would stay 4 years and work on his Master's if he graduates early. It's also been stated that his degree is a 5 year degree, finishing a 5 year degree in 3 years would be quite a feat.

I got an AE undergrad degree from UT. It's been awhile back, but then the average was 4.5 semesters. Plenty did 4 as well as 5. I took 5. Could have done 4.5 if I'd loaded up my last couple semesters, but I ended up stretching it out a little.

Regardless, doing it in 3 while playing football would be unbelieveable.

Congrats

Has anyone looked at the 2017 schedule? We pride ourselves on bad ass OOC schedules but 2017 looks like someone eased off on the gas. I have never even heard of the Indiana State Sycasnores.

Looks like what they've done is taken our medium grade cupcakes (WKU or USU) and replaced them with plain cupcakes but otherwise it's the same - three easy ones (e.g. USU, Arky St., UTC) plus an unnamed/TBA one from a power 5 (OU, ORE, etc).

Given that the SEC took away the 2nd bye week (we only get one now) it makes sense to make sure your cupcakes really are cupcakes.

I'll get some smdh on this one but here's one to ponder. Rumors are Dobbs will be able to graduate a year early. IF humongous IF Dobbs performs beyond all our expectations this year and next he could potentially go on to the draft and have his degree.

I assume he prob has interest in a Masters and prob why his parents initially wanted a redshirt year so he could finish it all while in school and not while in NFL if he was able to make it.

Wasn't 2017 supposed to be the Ohio State beginning of a home and home? I believe Urbs pulled out of it shortly after taking the OSU job.

Didn't we also add a game vs W Virginia in Charlotte for 2018? If so, smart move by this staff to schedule neutral site games in three crucial states as far as recruiting goes.
