@Volquest_Paul: .@dbarnett25 & @CurtMaggitt's 13 combined sacks are the most for a Vol duo since 2005 & they still have 3 games left https://t.co/4p676rSRSA
Ankle injuries can be very strange and surprisingly painful even with no major damage. I have torn ligaments and tendons, and broken a few bones which are all very painful. I once also was playing a pick-up game of basketball and rolled my ankle. When I went down I thought for sure it was broken because of the severe pain. I remember laying on the ground beating the floor trying to get through the pain. I had to have a friend help me off the court. 3 days later I was back out there full speed. You just never know with ankles.
Man I was just thinking about bowl season. I can't believe how long it's been since we were apart of it. I truly don't care at all where we end up or who we're playing. I just want to get there.
I never used to think it was that much of an accomplishment, until all of a sudden we couldn't even get there with Cordarrelle Patterson on our team.
just an observation about our offense with Dobbs...
In the last two games we have thrown the ball over the middle a lot more. I think the reason is pretty clear. With Dobbs being a threat to run and the read option now having, you know, options...the LBs have to play much more honest. They suck to the line and it opens things up behind them. A running game in general does this. For all the hand wringing earlier in the season that Bajakian is an idiot who only throws to the sideline I think we are now seeing that he isn't an idiot as much as he was severely handcuffed. Against USCe we barely threw any of those hitches and WR screens.
I think it's simpler than that. Down the middle is Dobbs best pass. IMO. Or at least the one he has the least trouble throwing with accuracy. He has trouble throwing across his body accurately. JMO
Has anyone looked at the 2017 schedule? We pride ourselves on bad ass OOC schedules but 2017 looks like someone eased off on the gas. I have never even heard of the Indiana State Sycasnores.

probably so...but I have a hard time believing Worley couldn't make the throws over the middle. I still believe, at this moment (injury aside) that Worley is a better thrower. I think deficiencies kept Bajakian limited.
