Here's what I've told a couple of friends of mine.

Why wouldn't they want Gruden? Ticket sales, merchandise, everything would SKY ROCKET in sales.

Recruiting classes would be like none we have ever seen and almost immediately.

Don't they understand its going to pad their pockets as well???

I understand that Gruden wants Sabah type power, and it may be hard for some of the powers at be to relinquish, but sometime you just got to get out of your own way.

I think MIT Beaver wrote that summary. The interesting thing out of that summary is I do not remember him ever saying in the Gruden thread that when the deal was done on both sides, he would go dead quiet. Do you?

I know for sure that AV said he would go quiet if it was going down and I havent seen where he has been on today. He did come on last night and say he had been called to a boosters meeting.


I remember MIT saying something along the lines of he would be back after it was announced to say I told ya so and to celebrate with everybody.


Im not sure MIT wrote the summary posted. Whoever did, seems like they got mixed up with what AV said. There are a handful in the Gruden thread that basically came up with this theory so it could have been one of them that posted that summary.

I have followed the "story" line pretty close since the beginning and was the second person to sleuth out beav before all the deletions. This narrative has been in gruden threads for a while so it isn't new. What it doesn't address is that it is widely uncorroborated and does not account for Gruden's wishes either.
