I know. It's just hard to put any stock whatsoever into people pumping good news out there concerning Gruden. All seems a little self-serving at the moment. And it's all a bunch of vague, easily deniable BS.

I will admit that MIT_Beaver intrigued me from the get-go, however. His posts had an air confidence about them that was completely lacking from the 2012 Grumors.

I think they're throwing the kitchen sink at him. I think the chances are better than 5% that Larry has. I'm at 50/50.

This just in. Darrell Taylor, Justin Martin & Nigel Warrior all suffered season-ending injuries at end of Southern Miss game.

Last years injuries hit the defense hardest, this year it hit the offense hardest. Next year.... It won't? BOOM! 15-0 here we come, 2018/19 National champs!

I am just now starting to believe we are actually targeting him and going all in on it. I can’t get to where I believe he is coming though.

If we land him I’m canceling direct and getting the most expensive package dish offers.

I don't know if it was coaching or what but that Southern Miss team was terrible.

They should've been able to beat that Tennessee team.

Also, shoutout to Vol fans for showing up. Besides the student section that stadium was packed and loud.

I was a proponent of Empty Neyland put at the same time I'm proud of the support we show - even if the product doesn't deserve it.

Seems to be how it goes for the Vols.

We'll get really lucky against crappy teams and win games that no one remembers, and then have the most insanely horrible luck against our rivals and lose in spectacularly heartbreaking fashion because of it.

Hard to put stock in anything at this point. Outside of Jones being gone.

I believe he is interested in the job and UT will push harder than they ever have in the past for coach. I felt that way before the Beaver ever revealed itself. Lol.

Cautiously optimistic.

UT fans ALWAYS show out man. Fan base deserves so much better.

Empty Neyland was dumb cause it would never work. Fanbase is too loyal. Love being part of that. If we ever get back it’s gonna feel so good. Knoxville will be euphoric.
