That's actually a lot more reasonable than a lot of the theories I've heard lol
I realize you're being sarcastic, but, tbh, that is at least as conceivable as 75% of everything else that's been thrown out there.
I thought the same thing about former players. JJ doesnt fit into that though.
Correct me if Im wrong, but pretty sure Hubbs didnt say that it was a text (let alone on a personal number), not that I necessarily even think thats particularly meaningful. Hubbs is hearing enough to keep an open mind on Gruden (especially because it just so happens to be great for business!) but not enough to believe that its close to happening.
Maybe not.
I'm still eager to see what he says.
I believe him when he said, as of yesterday, that Gruden had not talked to anyone "officially" about the opening.
I think that changed last night and I want to know if he does too.
"I have not been able to confirm where Currie went after he was in Charlotte. Did he stay there? Did he take another flight? I haven't been able to track him down.
I don't have anyone telling me an official offer has been made."
Let's see how close I am.

I should clarify that by saying he'll be the one to break it nationally. Why do you say that?
Hubbs also clarified he's been told by many that it's a done deal and will happen. He just needs to see it.
You don't know JJ was coming back and I think it's very likely he doesn't without a big hire...fact is those are just opinions by you and I...not facts.
Hargis wasn't trolled last time and it's not a troll this time. Even Hubbs said as much in the update late last night... "There are definitely some around Gruden who think it's real possibility that he might take the Tennessee job. We don't think all of this is some kind of big troll job."
