And others. All of these guys tweeting is not because they individually read a message board. That’s dumb. Especially the Alexander posts. They were told something. It may not be Gruden, but they were told something.

Someone was told something and then that guy told someone else and eventually even Brisco hears. He would tweet it while others who really knew first don't tweet it at all.

The people telling Hubbs and LWS aren't just random message board trolls. Not just anybody gets to have Hubbs' personal phone number to send him texts. The people telling him it is happening are most likely very well connected and have reason to believe other than message board rumors.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but pretty sure Hubbs didn’t say that it was a text (let alone on a personal number), not that I necessarily even think that’s particularly meaningful. Hubbs is hearing enough to keep an open mind on Gruden (especially because it just so happens to be great for business!) but not enough to believe that it’s close to happening.

What about the post from Hubbs saying he's been told done deal at $10mil per year? (I know he backtracked but he still left that post up for a couple hours). It's pretty clear Hubbs has many people telling him it's going to happen and others saying no.

Agreed. His intel on that post came from someone he trusts, maybe his most trustworthy source, IMO. No way he posts anything like that otherwise.

Alright guys, I have heard from sources how the press conference will go. It will be Hollywood like, since ESPN will be the network carrying the coverage.

The camera will start showing a helicopter flying in the distance, it will zoom in to show that it is a Monday Night Football helicopter flying over Knoxville. The camera now zooms closer to show Gruden standing at an open door in the helicopter. He jumps, salutes the Monday Night crew, and yells thanks for the Monday Night gig...

As Gruden is diving down, the Monday Night crew helicopter's camera catches Gruden chute supporting the power T on it. He is headed toward Neyland Stadium...

He land in the Checker Boards. The Pride of the Southland Band starts to form the T, then Gruden struts to the podium...

When Helicopter Coach steps to the podium, he says...

Clay Travis perks up, but oh it's just his press conference notes.

Gruden gives a monumental speech...

He finishes buy putting the rest of the SEC on notice.
Gruden: "I am now driving this Big Orange train, so if you don't want to get run over, I suggest you get off the tracks!", then...

At least this is how I heard it would go down from my source.
