Can’t see trolling. He just bought a house in Knoxville, has family in Knoxville and a lot of good friends around the program, and then he goes and trolls everyone including his friends, family, the program and the city/fanbase? I just can’t see him doing that on purpose.

I guess I just don't remember it being that loud, looks like I was wrong. I still respected Bama even though I hated them

If you listen, you hear someone say "thankfully we're not on camera". Someone did say that after the interview the host said they were instructed not to ask about coaching rumors.

If Gruden is named the Tennessee coach it is because he decided it was something he wants to try.

If Gruden is not the Tennessee football coach its because he doesn't want to coach college football.

It has nothing to do with Currie screwing it up. This scenario is not a lot different then 2012 and still remains the same bottom line. Does Jon Gruden want to coach college football or not. Tennessee has put up the max to entice him. Its all up to him and if he doesn't do it, like before there will be no announcement. Not from Tennessee and definitely not from Gruden.

Don't try to read too much into all the grumors

Interesting, I didn’t hear that when I listened. I thought I had seen someone say that about not instructing them to talk about UT though.

Growing up in the early 80s I was always worried about Bama coming back even in their dark days. That is probably why I remember that stuff. Specifically I remember the ESPN guys in the early 2000s (Dan Patrick and cowheard) preaching that stuff. I just felt it was regional bias.
