Of course, Currie is looking at the worst coach in the state of North Carolina, who will probably not even be able to bring his OC with him, which is about the best thing you can say about NC State.

I agree. I hate it for our fan base but I hate for the dudes that strap on the pads for the Vols more. They need a coach that they'll run through that wall for. I think they did that for Butch the first couple of years and then gradually they saw that their faith had been misplaced.

THe protest wasn’t over every hire. Gundy or Brohm= no protest. If it was Tee would = no protest. Mike leach = no protest.

Leadership at UT is terrible, but Doeren is not on the hot seat and is getting a raise and extension. NC State doesn’t want him to walk. That’s just Basilio nonsense.

He was on the hot seat at the beginning of the year. 8-4 is good enough at NC ST to get you off of it.

I guess we know now why Currie lined up his stadium expansion money before the coaching search! I wonder what promises he made to all the boosters who agreed to contribute? His actions have not only jeopardized that project but also the entire athletic department budget, our recruiting, our image, and our ability to win football games. I am still a Tennessee fan and graduate. He can't take that away!
