I would wait until after signing day for Brohm if that meant we were going to get him instead of Doeren.

Just like he drained tiny trucking companies a nickel per transaction, he has sucked the life from fans a nickels worth of pride at a time just so he could remain in power

If you think the Schiano debacle had anything to do with fan backlash, then your an idiot. They were going to hire Schiano regardless of how the fans felt about it. The boosters not named Haslam revolted and used their influence $ to get it stopped. At this point, were already painted in a bad light by the media. I figure we as fans should get our monies worth and rail on whoever we don't want. I will not support this hire. Doeren is going to have to win me over.

Fans are now coming in like a wrecking ball, why did we have the largest stadium in a small population state for 80 years? Cause we have the best fans in football. May want to consider their wishes. Mediocrity is not one of them

This is so true. But everyone is in denial about it, which just makes the whole thing seem so hopeless.

Can anyone confirm UT offered Delorean or what ever the hell it is, 4.5 for 5 and he will decide today? Saw where NC state wanted to raise him to 3??

How is this a good idea? How does this help the program at all? It just makes it more and more of a joke and a dumpster fire.

We've given this AD and Haslam the benefit of the doubt that they had something good up their sleeves. Turns out it's poop. I see no way they have the intelligence to pull something like that off. It will not be Brohm imo.

No you’re just a wuss that’s scared of fighting against a system that is broken. This football program will not get better until the fans draw a line in the sand and say enough is enough. Dave Doeren is a garbage hire and it’s unacceptable that we have resorted to this when there are at least 10 other viable candidates that are better than him.

Sometimes you have to destroy something so that it can be rebuilt from the ground up. Wake up and join the movement #TakeBackTheHill

Those that ask what logical reason Haslam would have to torpedo UT football need only look at the Browns, no logical reason there either, just ample evidence of incompetence

The best we can hope for is that we are LSU getting Saban from Michigan St. Doeren's record isn't overly different than what Saban's was when he went from MSU to LSU (although Saban had a better conference record, Doeren has 2 Conference titles from the MAC). LSU was also coming off an 8 loss season when they brought in Saban.

I know it's a stretch, but it is at least possible.

If you think the fans are hurting the program, then you're an idiot. We are not the one's hiring coaches that can't win.

Kinda funny people and posters on here are blaming the fans for this after what we have had to put up with since fulmer. **** or embarrassing hires in football, baseball, women's bball and mens basketball up until Barnes. Now the fans that fill the stadium and travel everywhere are being blamed for the coaching searches issues haha, give me a break. Your blind if you think this is the fans fault. Haslem needs to go plain and simple.

Biggest disappointments:

1. Schiano was our #1. There was no search. That’s why our AD went to the Bahamas and didn’t hire a search firm. Also why he let the grumor stuff go on and on. It gave him cover. Also why he kept CBJ around so long. Gave him cover.

2. We never offered Dan Mullen. There was never a report of an offer. We have seen no numbers. If we were really pursuing him we would have at least drove the price up for Florida. He was never even considered.

3. We had a chance to escape with an up and comer and the Prez/Bev pulled the plug on it. Or Currie offered money he couldn’t get which makes us look even worse.

4. I believe that we went after Mike Gundy knowing he would not come. I mean we are taking a plane landing there in Stillwater while the guy is in Dallas. Makes zero sense. It was a charade. They knew he wouldn’t come.

5. We are considering a known buster at NC State who is on the hot seat, can’t get an extension, fans hate him. He makes $3m and we are offering this guy $4.5 supposedly.

All of this is sickening and it all points back to our leadership. Jim, Jimmy and Bill Haslam, Bev Dav, the President and John Currie.
