I really don’t understand the view that Mullen would fail here. He’s done better than Butch Jones while at Mississippi State. Makes no sense to think Mississippi State’s ceiling is the same as ours, unless folks just have a low view of Tennessee (which perhaps the Mehlenites do).

See that all depends on how you percieve failure. I want a guy that competes with Bama every game and kicks Floridas and UGAs butt on the regular, plus dominates all the scrubs like we are supposed to. I don't believe Mehlan has it in him.

I don’t think we’ve ever had a coach that could kick Florida’s butt on the regular, or at least not since divisional play began. If Florida gets Kelly that becomes much harder too. I think we are talking with guys that could potentially get us there. If we don’t land them it will be because they don’t think our program can achieve what you think it can achieve.

Can’t remember exactly. Lost visits or something. Maybe a scholly. Dismantled our hostess program.

It was centered around the girl who went to visit the kids in SC. Cory miller and Brandon Phillips. When they got here they ended up getting to our b-ball coach after Ohio State sent them a picture.
