I've heard all of these people not only say that there is 0% that Gruden comes to Tennessee, but have laughed at the thought of it.

Every single name on that list is a poster boy for low T clinics. All reek of estrogen and despair, with a hint of urinal cake.

There's nothing remotely provable about Gruden. People either suspend disbelief and accept outright lies from anonymous sources or they look for the logic and seek to validate claims.

I wouldn’t put a top end on it if I was Currie. I would offer him the keys to the kingdom and pay whatever he asks.

If I'm AD, I'd go 7 years for $50 million (or about 7.14 per year), and at least 7 years for $50 million for assistant salary pool (including S&C and support staff). I would not try to dictate staff at all, not for a Petersen level hire.

Unless we're talking about some unknown candidate not on the vet list prepared by the search firm we didn't hire.

Not following. You can't prove those things but you can't disprove them either. If you want to call those thing smoke, there's not much around any candidate except Gruden. Also, just because some of the rumors are BS doesn't mean they all are. Not saying I'm 100% that Gruden's the coach but I think there's a better than 50% chance it happens.

What about this list that the search firm we didn't hire has. Is that rumor too?
