I’m not full grumors but I mentioned this to my buddy Saturday. It very well could have been Gruden and somebody at Calhoun’s leaked it and the AD put a stop to it as soon as they saw it and made that CEO issue a statement

I think the guy looks a little too stocky to be Gruden. Head and neck look too thick.

That stupid picture floated around with nobody thinking it was Gruden. Even when someone suggested it people shot it down. Then John Pennington started saying it was Gruden and still nobody believed it. People weren’t living in fantasyland.

Then the idiot Pennington went and doubled down. Then the bammer COO of Calhoun’s and the official Calhoun’s twitter account went all in saying that not only was it him but he had requested pics not be taken. On top of that Pennington assured us all that they would not lie because they were sponsors of his show. Pennington then stated he doesn’t report rumors and that he verified it. Then WBIR confirmed it. Then Jesse Simonton made a comment that gave it validity even though he was probably just watching it unfold just like the rest of us and started to buy in.

People should be pissed at all parties involved in turning that into the spectacle it became.
