This. No wonder national media gives us so much $h¡7.
Yep. People act like what Mullen has done there is just kind of alright. He's done a very, very good job there. A lot of fans want to talk about how great of a job UT is, which I would agree, and then act like Mullen would have the same level of success at Tennessee. You can't have it both ways. Common sense would tell anyone that if you give a guy better resources, he'll do an even better job. Think it through.

Still waiting to here of his great wins that make him a slam dunk hire.
You said hiring Mullen is a disaster.
I cant have a legitimate conversation with someone who believes that. Theres no point.
This is one reason our fan base gets made fun of. We scream Gruden for 2 weeks and then potentially hire a really good coach and fans then scream disaster and call for the AD to be fired.
This picture is making the rounds on VQ.
It's another pic of the back of pseudo-Gruden's head, this time in the box with Currie (?) from last Saturday.

I think the guy looks a little too stocky to be Gruden. Head and neck look too thick.
He has done a good job there, but he doesnt have a signature win, he hasnt beaten Bama, and hes lost to some teams like South Alabama. Hes a good coach, but overrated. I mean, again, Campbell has two wins this year that are more impressive than any of Mullens and he has even less talent

They're both really good coaches IMO. Mullen has beaten LSU and A&M three times. I'm not gonna hold not beating Bama against him. But he has competed with them a few times with inferior talent. I don't think he's overrated at all. In fact, I think he's underrated.
We will never win the SEC with Mullen imo. May win the east a few times, but no real championships. Thats not what Im looking for
In 2014, Miss State beat #8 LSU, #6 A&M, and #2 Auburn all in row to become the fastest team ever to rise from unranked to #1. That's not too shabby, especially considering they had a fraction of the talent those other teams had. Mullen is not #1 on my wishlist, but people out there saying things like hiring him would be a disaster are making the whole fan base look stupid.
