Ummm...actuly following his career before now. I've always thought he was a great OC and QB coach, but I do not, and never have thought he any great in him as a HC. The SA loss was probably when I checked out on him as a really good HC.
I only want the best for UT and have slammed others for "laughing" at our program's shortcomings, but at this point, I have to say I may giggle a little at all these folks that want Mullen and think he is going to be the answer and will recruit elite... You guys will find out sooner than later...
I would assume some of those losses are to the big non-conference team we play. Listen, I'm assuming a loss to Alabama every year. You may not like it but there's not a coach out there I would predict to beat them until I saw it with my own eyes.
I think in a 5 year span we'd win the East twice and yes I would be happy with that.
Then why hasn't he said it publicly?
Exactly. No matter how many "smokescreens", "soon"s, or Dilly Dilly, the guy just does not want to to coach college football.
