Only way I see Tee coming as OC is if it's in a "coach in waiting" role.

Nah. Tee would likely to stand to make more money as our OC than he would coaching somewhere like Georgia Southern, which is about the best he'll be able to do right now.

If he's Gruden's OC and recruiting coordinator, he's probably making $750,000+, maybe closer to $1 million if the salary figures are correct.

Then he can rack up some nice seasons in Knoxville and bypass the lower-tier G5 jobs altogether for a much better head coaching position.

If there are no leaks by tonight--i.e., a team meeting at MSU/Iowa State--then I think the hire won't happen until next weekend (SECCG) or next Monday/Tuesday. That would mean it's either Gruden or a coach with a conference championship game on deck.

We'll be able to rule out Mullen and Campbell within a matter of hours, IMO. And I just don't buy that Schiano is a real candidate whatsoever.

Would leave Frost, Gruden, and Norvell. Or a total surprise candidate.
