Honestly if we can’t hire any of the big guys just go get Tee. He’d probably be decent with good recruiting, and my god I’m ready for a different offense.

Watching Ty Chandler run a toss brought a tear to my eye yesterday. Then as the game went on many sad tears followed.

Not just someone. Someone that wrote the same non story 5 years ago. The guy posts rumors about NFL for a living. Gruden to UT is an NFL associated rumor. I don’t put any more stock on it than any other insider on this board.

I don’t believe he has sources. Again. I hope I’m wrong but I fell back in when Gruden was eating ribs with Peyton and I was furious at myself for believing again.

You could be right. But theres been a ton of smoke over the last few weeks when you add it all up.

If Gruden ends up being the hire we're all gonna look back and realize it was staring us in the face the whole time, but we were too jaded to believe it. Myself included.

His offense hasn’t been that good.

Besides it’s already been said we wwere my hire anyone without head coaching experience (as it should be)

Tee Martin recently following KMac, Trey Smith and the official UT sports twitter page

We're setting up to get Lamonte'd.

LaMonte would beg Gruden to accept a job that was paying $10.2 million/year given ESPN/MNF's uncertain future.

In 2012 Gruden's smartest play was to stay at MNF. ESPN wasn't bleeding money back then. Different situation now. Instead of coaching salaries capping out at $5 mil, they're double digits.

I’m pretty confident whoever is running that account is under 30 based on a recent post. The one responding to the picture of a whale. It’s kind of explicit or I’d figure out how to repost it here.

He's claiming that's him in the picture on his Twitter feed now.

They average 20 less yards a game than UCF. How many points and how high does the offense have to be ranked to be good? Having the 13th ranked offense is pretty damn good.

That's the advice I would give.

Man, I was gutted so thoroughly by the "fantasy land" article in 2012.

Yeah. I think LaMonte is smart enough to know that if Gruden has an offer for $10.2 million/year on the table, he has to take it. Coaching salaries won't stay at that level for long. And Fox/CBS/NBC isn't going to pay Gruden anywhere remotely what he makes at MNF, let alone what Tennessee is offering.

As his agent, LaMonte gets a cut of Gruden's money. Wouldn't have made sense to advise him to take the UT job in 2012. Would have lost money. But the time is right to get out of the booth and back onto the field, especially with a near-unprecedented salary offer.

Admittedly didn’t realize they were doing that Good. Insert foot in mouth. I guess I should research better

I’m pretty sure LaMonte works for Gruden and not the other way around. He may hope and pray Gruden takes the offer, but he ain’t making the decision.
