The idea that Tee is going to come here and compensate for his inexperience with an all-star staff filled with guys like Kevin Steele is not realistic. Big name assistants aren't going to leave winning programs to work under a rookie at a program that's on the mat. Can't see Currie paying big money for assistants if he's bargain shopping HCs.

We were led to believe things from a money standpoint would be different this time. That we'd pay top dollar in order to get this program back. So was all that a bunch of bunk? Why are we willing to pay 350 million for a stadium renovation but not 5 or 6 for a football coach?

That's what I'm saying. It's some cat and mouse game between them. But the Haslams have way more money than T. Boone. Maybe their egos will get the better of them and they'll end up paying Gundy $10 million/year just to prove a point.
