I think this is a little different as he just signed a contract extension a few months ago. But if they really want to keep him then I'm sure they will redo it again.

If he is your top choice you stay till he calls the cops on you or says yes.

Sometimes a coach just wants a new challenge. Gundy would certainly have that in Knoxville. Not sure I see us offering more than around 5.5 per year though. Offering Tee or Steele closer to 3.5 per is much more UT. JMO

Gundy is 69-42 in the stinking big twelve and 17-29 vs ranked opponents. You seriously think he makes us relevant vs Saban or UGA or Florida with mullen? This is sad and ridiculous. Just take a gamble on Tee or Venables or just about anyone else. This is panic for a "name" but that name hasnt been relevant nationally since 2011.
