Per TB just said Cut, Brohm and Morris have said no within the last 24 hours.

Don't laugh at TB, he has been very good with info as of late.

They are throwing out the hail marry as we speak with Gundy and prepared to offer.

If that doesnt happen, and he doesnt think it will.

Said he doesn't see a path for Tee.

Watch for Les Miles and Dave Doeren and Kevin Steele long shot.

I would name my first born Les if we bumble our way into hiring him

I don't believe it. That stuff came out after he left and came off as bitter Ga fans. Ga fans were trying to get Pruitt promoted to head coach over MR for awhile.

Smart knows Pruitt and didn't retain him. People like Buck Belue hinted on ATL radio the whole time that Pruitt was there that lots of people had problems with him.

Checked in last week at the same time and people were debating Petersen vs Gruden.
Fast forward one week and it's Morris vs whatever coordinator would consider us. After Cut turned us down lol.

F Currie and Haslam.

Gundy is playing us for another raise. It happens every time.

Not impressed with Morris and Pruitt has some background things that bother me.

Les Miles would be great, but nobody seems to care.

Spurrier is right about Fulmer--get him to help Tee, and go with it. I'm all for that.

We are going to have to pay Gundy $8 million/year just to save the program from imminent destruction. And he'll still probably turn us down.

BREAKING NEWS: Tennessee Meeting with Gundy
BREAKING NEWS: Tennessee Meeting with Gundy this morning in Dallas.
Jimmy Hyams, insider and radio host and broadcast crew member at Tennessee has reported on twitter that Tennessee has turned their attention to try and hire Oklahoma State's Mike Gundy. Go Pokes knows that Gundy will meet with Tennessee athletic director John Currie at 11 am this morning (Tuesday) in Dallas. Gundy was in Oklahoma City recruiting on Monday and was asked by Tennessee to meet on that day but, Gundy told them he was busy. The two parties agreed to meet Tuesday in Dallas. Tennessee, after the debacle after trying to hire Greg Schiacno, is in a desperate mode to come up with a suitable football coach for their program and fan base.

Gundy just finished his 13th season as the head football coach at Oklahoma State. He is the winningest football coach in Oklahoma State history with 113 wins versus 53 losses. Oklahoma State will be heading to a bowl game for a school record 12th straight year. As all Cowboy fans know, Gundy is one of their own as he played, served as an assistant coach and now the program's head coach.

Gundy has been the target of other schools in the past including Tennessee, Arkansas, Baylor, and most recently Florida talked to him about the vacancy they just filled with Dan Mullen.

This time appears to be different in that the intensity on the Tennessee side is extreme. Gundy notified Oklahoma State athletic director Mike Holder of Tennessee interest on Monday in accordance on the terms of his new contract that he signed this summer. Oklahoma State officials have known about this situation for very close to 24 hours now.

Again, Go Pokes knows that Mike Gundy is meeting with Tennessee about their football head coaching vacancy at 11 am in Dallas on Tuesday Nov 28th.

Any time Tennessee calls, Gundy must feel like it is Santa Claus himself coming over to back up the sleigh. Cha-ching.

This is so depressing.

The only reason they won’t consider Tee is because it would make the fans and former players happy. No reason to consider Steele over Tee. None.

I think it is more that it limits their power over him. Let the Haslem's pit themselves against a guy that has a street named after him and brought us the only modern national championship, that would be all it would take to push the other boosters to rise up against against them. Thus they lose their power grip.
