Would excite me like a stale Ritz cracker, but we’ve come to this, so...

I keep forgetting that Leach is out there, and we should call him first. But at this point, we could do SO much worse than a national championship coach with strong recruiting ties in the south.

I wouldn’t mind. Every offense and QB he touches turns into a passing powerhouse which would really help Tennessee in recruiting the best QBs in the land (in hopes of being the next Peyton Manning).

Give him mega money for a DC/staff and I’m in...

I can’t continue to go through every page fellas. This is taking more than 3 hours every single day.

Tomorrow morning when I request, would someone kindly provide cliff notes for the previous 12 hours?

Thanks

Prepare to receive several gifs of a burning waste receptacle every 12 hrs or so.

He has a very good young DC already.

I can see this spiraling to the point where we just end up with Hoke or we ask Phil to do it and he publicly declines or some other craziness. Nothing would shock me now.

Tee, Kiffin, or Venables are the only ones that can keep me engaged. Could they suck? Sure but let’s be honest...

Add Leach or Miles and that's my list.

Here's why:

at this point we need to either take a risk on the next great coach in cfb(the three you named) or stabilize (two I named).

I'm leaning toward stabilizing. Next great coach keeps the current people in charge. Bad long term plan as they are obviously not fit to run an athletic program.

Stabilizing gives us some time to remove them. Removing them needs to happen for the long term success and title contention program that UT used to be. jmo.

I find it hard to believe that we are talking directly to Steele this week with SEC championship game coming up Saturday. Same with Tee and his game. Only coaches we could really talk with are coaches who have finished the season.

The Schiano fiasco has really hurt the search. Without it we could be talking to several sitting coaches but I think many will be gun shy. Many D1 coaches are gun shy of SEC now because of what many consider unreasonable expectations in recruiting. Many are unwilling to constantly live in the gray.

If Tee was even an option there is no way it would be this week.

I've been one of the Leach supporters here. unfortunately for me, it's not because of football. Dude has hot takes that I need to see in orange. Press conference would be incredible.

F*** it, I'm full Mike Leach. Marketing department will have a field day. And people wll rally behind that hire, I guarantee you.
