Doeren is a C hire. I’ll stick around and watch how things play out but I’m pretty sure he will just be another Butch Jones. Maybe he will make it to year 6.

I remember ESPN showing one of Doeren's pre game speeches earlier in the season and it was pretty bad. sounded like something Eric Taylor would say to get the kids fired up to beat the crosstown rival. I doubt he's got Kirby or Plantation Dan losing sleep.

It's about fit. Multiple players, admin, and coaches all say he does not have a coaching personality. He throws players under the bus and is stubborn as hell with how he runs things. Remind you of someone?

Sorry but I will support DD if hired cause if we cause a problem we the fans will murder recruiting and the program worse. I am vocal as crap till the hire is done, then it’s done and I will give the coach a chance.

This. Have to support him once hired. This is one of the biggest lessons to be learned from the Butch era, IMO.

I think we all agreed that “mehlen” is on the line where people would just give up on the program ever returning to national championship relevancey.

Apparently, they should of just kept Jones and saved the money.
