I agree, very sadly, but I agree. I have a deep history with this program like many do. It would be hard to turn my back but that hire would be the proverbial nail in the coffin of my support in any way. I will put away my VFL card for a better day.

Is Peyton untouchable, you think? Seen you defend him quite a bit. He's a VFL and an all-time great, but if he is towing the Haslam line then he needs to be called out.

I don't have any knowledge of Dave Doeren, but listening to TB talk about him I figured I should go read about him on the NC State boards. I was expecting some harsh things and them to be excited about him leaving, but so far everything I have read is people hoping we hire Brohm so Doeren doesn't leave. They are pushing for NC State to get his new contract done.

Again, I don't have any knowledge on him, so where is all this talk of him being a bad person coming from, besides TB Show?

That is the million dollar question. Is he or can he recruit well enough to be successful in the SEC when he hasn't shown that he can do that in the ACC.

If Currie refuses to interview Tee or Kiffin or Les Miles, what about Butch Davis, Charlie Strong or Randy Shannon? 3 more names to throw out who are winning or have had success and strong recruiting ties. All three is still a better win than Doeren!

Haslams are counting on people to rationalize this hire and show up for the next 3 years while this mosquito dick hire gets his nuts kicked by Mullen, Smart, Saban, and probably Mark Stoops annually.
