Just received word that Doeren is currently recruiting for NC State and did not meet with Tennessee on Wednesday. Reports of this taking place are false. As for the actual contract itself, I have received no word on the two sides getting any closer to an actual deal.

Hearing that all of this is more about the length of the contract as opposed to money of the deal. SEC teams can obviously pay more, but Dave wants to make sure he's in a good place recruiting wise and has all of his coordinators under contract.

Finally, a message response from Debbie Yow on contract talks, who is clearly not pleased with rumors coming out: "Dave needs to speak for himself about who he is talking to. Seems like the right way to manage."
