A Morris, Hobby, Brooks combo makes the most sense at this point, that's why I'm convinced it's not going to happen.

Instead we'll roll out Doeren, go 3-9 next year, and the program will be officially dead for the foreseeable future.

Listed to Fox Sports. Bunch of drunks calling in slurring their speech. The Fox Sports guys have given up--defeated. They think we're down to guys like Doeren. I'd take Bill Clark (should be coach of the year for what he accomplished) at UAB before Doeren, but that won't cut it either. We need Gruden. Failing that, send a Brinks truck to get Malzahn, the ONLY coach in the last 10 years that has proven he can beat Saban on a regular basis. Malzahn was ready to bolt at the end of this season had his team not responded like they did. I think he would like to stick it to the AU AD for not supporting him.

Mix in a little common sense with this approach and we are good.

At LEAST hire someone with potential that hasn’t already either proven to be very mediocre as a head coach or even worse a failure.

At LEAST give us a coordinator or g5 coach with potential.

NO reason we shouldn’t be able to hire Brohm, Morris, Tee, or even Houston.

Then there is Miles who would be MILES better than Doeren. Even Drinkwitz.

Even Healy from Peay.

Just not someone that’s proven to be just as bad or worse than who we just fired.

There is a big reason we can't hire someone of note. It's due to the dumpster fire our administration is at right now.
