Doug Matthews said today that Fulmer has had little to no input on the search.

Guys, I know it's far fetched, but I think there were interests on both sides, but Gruden didn't want Haslam, because he didn't want to be a yes man, so if that head is cut off or at least wounded to the point of incapacity, I still have hope until Currie marches some 3rd rate coach up there and announces him. I'm pulling for the 2nd team of boosters to solve this problem. It probably won't happen, but what else is there to pull for ?

The only thing they'll listen to is money or the lack thereof. They don't care what you tweet, they don't care what you paint on the rock. They only care what you spend. You want to affect change quit spending money on UT athletics and in particular UT football. I know it's hard. Many have had their seats for a long time and can't stand the thought of giving them up. But trust me, I got over it quickly with football and basketball. You will too.

I agree invol. Season ticket holders cancel season tickets, 40,000 to 50,000 show up for game will look empty. Not buying anything UT until things change.

That's what sucks. We have to turn the national media to our side or we have no shot. That probably will never happen because they are all butt hurt over Schiano.

At this point (on this track) you re putting the next guy (If you can find him) in a no win and you re doing this in 3 years again with a roster worse than Dooley left.

The bottom part of your post is what's going to happen. Doeren will be fired in three years, leaving behind a Dooley level roster. The next hire, no matter who it is, will then be looking at another 3 year rebuild. So really we're talking about another 6 or 7 years at the very least in the wilderness. IF, we hire Doeren. We get a Jeff Brohm or a Chad Morris, then we might be alright.

This is literally sickening. I’m going to go ahead and say it, I’m never going to a game or buying any merchandise until Currie and/or Haslam is gone or by some miracle we go after and get a real, proven coach. I am done. Until then I hope there’s less than 5,000 at the spring game and less than 50,000 at regular season games.

What I don’t get, is if you’re Jim Haslam you’ve got to know that you’re the most despised man in Knoxville. Nationwide media outlets are blaming you as the one behind the scenes responsible for this mess. Plus, your company is going through litigation for mail fraud and to ice the cake, your NFL franchise is arguably the worst team in history.
Even if I had $10 Billion, I’d say screw this chit I’m out.
