And I'm sure there will be some razorback advocates on here talking about their running game.

To you I say, I see your razorback backs, and raise you Barnett/Maggit/Mackenzie/Tuttle/O'Brien.
Bring it

The thing about Arky is they lost the best four players on their defense. How much different would we look this year if going into this season we had just lost Maggitt, Barnett, Sutton, and JRM?

I know these polls aren't official yet. But assuming we will be there when the official ones do come out....when was the last time we were in the preseason top 25?

2008?

Last time we was ranked was 2012 against FL.

I don't knoe about preseason.

So ready to beat Arkansas and crush this media love affair with them.

As the Arky resident here, I couldn't agree more. It's baffling how over half of their defensive production is gone, no highly rated recruits are replacing them, and they're being predicted to do even better defensively than last year.

Offensively they didn't really lose anyone at all, so I expect their offensive to be good, probably better than ours with 3-4 NFL OL as juniiors/seniors, an NFL TE, and 2 NFL RBs. Unless DeBord has some miracles for our OL, it's going to be our defense vs. their offense. I think it's the most even game of our schedule, and should be really fun to watch. If it were in Fayetteville, I'd probably predict Arky to win, but Neyland will give us the edge.

I think this will be KMAC's coming out game.

@patrickbrownTFP: Would think transferring Notre Dame QB Everett Golson will have a couple of SEC options (LSU, Bama, Carolina). Certainly worth watching.

Arkansas will go slow and try to limit our TOP and overall offensive opportunities. Need to jump out to a quick lead and take some chances early on.

If they go up by more than one TD, they'll be hard to beat if they have success on the ground.

Neyland 2007. The vaunted attack of Felix and McFadden came in and got shut down. 37-13 if I recall correctly.

Again, I say, Bring it.

This OL is better, and the RBs might be better too. Luckily their QB and WR are pretty bad.
