Im shocked that fournette isnt getting more love. If i was an unbiased outsider id be picking him or chubb to be on there

Multiple threads on SECRant in recent days about the Vols and whether they/Butch Jones are for real.

Of course, the consensus is that we will suck forever and that Jones is Zook 2.0, but the fact that they're talking about us so much suggests they don't actually believe that.

This year will tell us a lot. We are talented we shouldn't expect 10 wins or anything, but we should expect some progression. Next year really is a make or break year for the staff, especially if Cam/North/etc all stay for their Sr years

Agreed. That's why I think Butch has gotta win at least 2 out of 5 from OU/UF/UGA/Ark/Mizzou to not be viewed as a total failure of a coach. That will get us to 8-4 with BGSU, Western Carolina, North Texas, Vandy, UK, and USC as the other six wins.

IMO, we need to hold serve and win all of our home games this year. Bring back the intimidation factor of playing in Neyland.

Considering he always had the team ready and prepared while being undermanned I would say they will find out soon that he is for real.

Getting USC at home this year is big. I think we are officially "better" than them now, but playing them on the road this year would make me nervous. Spurrier would love nothing more than to derail our dream season should we start out hot, but getting them at home makes that game much more manageable.

We actually have a pretty favorable schedule this year in terms of home and away games. Except at Bama and at FL (who we should win if we ever get over our mental problems)

Spurrier "loves" to beat us every year ...Butch has taken the decision out of his hands the last two. :)

the fact that all these fans of other teams are talking about UT( mostly badly) and coming over to this board tells you everything you need to know. When they arent talking about you then they arent worried about you. See South Carolina right now.
