Aggies are gaining...i have voted 50x and the Aggies % keeps going up.
Cannot lose to them!

Vols help!!!

Agreed. That's why I think Butch has gotta win at least 2 out of 5 from OU/UF/UGA/Ark/Mizzou to not be viewed as a total failure of a coach. That will get us to 8-4 with BGSU, Western Carolina, North Texas, Vandy, UK, and USC as the other six wins.

IMO, we should take 3 out of the 5, minimum. We have more talent than UF and Mizzou, and that talent should be very motivated. OU, UGA and Arky are at home, and a sold-out Neyland should be rocking for those games. If we can do that, we'll be in the hunt for East and live up to the hype.

I just went to Lowes in Orange of course and the lady right in front of me in line had just as much Orange on as I did. The cashier was a little worried we were there to invade. :)

I saw it happening this time last year - people wearing orange for no particular reason. The pride is back. Now it's going national. :)

They got caught cheating in the last poll we were up against them. It was Kyle vs. Neyland. The website that ran it disqualified them. Don't know if that will happen here but it might.

That is NOT helping a brother out!
Help teach the old guy how to get around that! :hi: :salute: :)

Fear not. Usually, when there's an IP log designed to lock you out, you're unable to vote again. It simply shows you the results. :)

ETA: When there are locks the easiest way to get around them is to open Google Chrome's browser, go to the little dashed square on the top right corner and open "incognito mode", type in/paste the web address to the poll and proceed to vote from that window. Close it out (just that window -- you don't have to close the whole browser) and repeat the process.

There are a number of IP changer apps for both iPhone and Android. There are also websites that can do it, usually called anonomizers.

Sorry, incognito mode does not hide your ISP IP address. Just keeps Google from tracking what you do.

You could reset your cable/DSL modem and you might/should get a new IP address from your ISP unless you have a static IP.

This.

I used to follow texags.com. A&M fans have a script they run that hijacks online fan polls. During the Kyle vs. Neyland poll, it malfunctioned and cast a ridiculous number of votes (something like 100,000 in 7 hours), and they got caught. However, they may have fixed the bugs, and are at it again.

Tell that to the aTm fan(s) who wrote a bot to steal these polls.

Fair enough. But those guys are truly nuts going that far. Apparently they have a reputation for it that goes back way further than the Kyle vs. Neyland poll.

As a computer geek myself I can see where they are coming from.... Some fans spend hours hitting refresh and revoting. Geek fans spend an hour writing a script.

When I vote again it says at the top: "Thank you, we have already counted your vote."

Does that mean "Thanks but you can only vote once" or "Thanks. We have rallied your vote into the totals."?
