If the Nike/UT relationship is anything like any other contract negotiations, the vendor (Nike) gives the customer options to choose from, and the customer (UT) decides which option makes the most sense from a cost/benefit perspective. We have no idea how much money UT saves by streamlining their brand. My guess is that it was a business decision that was carefully considered, and not a push by some malevolent Nike executive(s).

I hope you're right. That would be slightly more acceptable. Still don't like it, but acceptable.

Reeeeaaaalllly don't like posting this but....hello again from Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.

Ashlee's "ok" but having some moderate to severe withdrawals from the pain medication...if you ask me, they weened her a little too aggressively. My wife and I haven't gotten much sleep since we got home but, hey, no big deal, that's life with a month old child.

They're keeping her here for 24-48 hours for observation, pending everything else is medically ok.

Sending up prayers! She'll be home soon, and y'all won't be looking back!

Prayers for Ashlee. Seems that sometimes medical facilities want patients out before they are medically ready to be out.
