And then the insurance company will have a lower reimbursement to the provider due to the readmission within 30 days. Smh
Meh. I'm not worried. We've met our deductible, max out of pocket, spent all (or soon will) of our flex spending account, etc...for three lifetimes.
Plus, there are Federal and State programs that we're checking into that pay upwards of 100% of medical bills, not covered by insurance, for babies under a year old with life threatening diagnosises (which she most definitely had).
Mom and dad are working stiffs though...we'll be ok.
Looks like we're going to be discharged later this afternoon. Baby girl is a little bit of an addict, so they're putting her on a longer taper-off dosage of her methadone.
I know what you mean. Our soon to be five year old son was in the Nicu for 5 weeks. Total charges were just over $160k and, except for what was on our flex card, we didn't have to pay anything. Plus, everything was covered 100% the rest of the year.
My comment was more from the provider (hospital) perspective.
Best of luck to you and your family!
The coaches have already said the Cam will be used in multiple positions for match-ups this next season. Which is what a few of us wanted to see last season - especially against the Coopers. I guess they felt he needed another year of experience. At least they are going to do it now. The point being is those match-ups are going to showcase to the scouts and most everybody just how good he is. Big year coming for Cam.
That video was good stuff. Butch misses nothing.
