For those who care (and those who don't, DEAL WITH IT) ahem...

I, along with my band will be in the studio for a few weeks recording our very first album. We start this week. Wish us luck!

Congrats C-Bone!! Best of luck!! Don't forget us little people when you make it big :)

Jalen Hurd was never gonna be a guy that was gonna get 70 yard or 80 yard TD runs. Kamara is the guy who will break those really long runs.
I think Butch Jones knows that and sees Hurd as a move the chains back that will wear a defense down.

Didn't Eddie George win a Heisman trophy doing just that?..yep. Hurd is plenty fast enough to break a long one. If the Ol was worth a damn he would already have several imo. Jalen is more than just a grinder.

I'd bet the house he can't run a 4.45 being over 240 pounds.

Why? Leonard Little ran a 4.3 at around that weight. So it is out of the realm of possibility for JH to be a freak of nature like LL and others? Hurd was a skinny frosh last season. It was obvious he was gonna get bigger and stronger.

That's right. He definitely has the frame to carry 240. I know it's hard to believe but Hurd looked kind of lanky last year compared to now. Dude looks a freaking NFL outside linebacker right now. He was not at the weight that he wanted to be at last year due to recovering from the shoulder injury.

Spot on... Upper body was underdeveloped last year.

Have been wearing some UT gear down here in Jamaica. And I have gotten a few "Go Vols" from others...

You can tell/feel the excitement and anticipation of what Butch is building.

At the NFL Combine in 1998, Little measured in at 6'3.5" 237 lbs, then proceeded to run a 4.48 40 yd dash.

Freak.

so there I was, looking at twitter, when a Vanderbilt football paid ad shows up. On the top right hand corner was an "x". So naturally I clicked it to get it off my feed. Three options came up to give twitter a survey of why I clicked the "x".

1. Shows up too often.
2. Tweet is offensive (strong contender)
3. Tweet is not relevant. (Perfect. Clicked).

He whines more than any little kid I've ever seen.

I'd whine too if I kept being compared to MJ's elite teams winning finals over average teams compared to me carrying Tennesse School for the Blind to the finals multiple times and beating great teams and losing a few as well.

Different eras though. Jordan would have eaten modern defenses alive. The game has changed significantly since the 90s.

There were more superstars on the Heat teams he played on than Jordans Bulls.

The Lakers (granted they were old) were considered some of the best teams in history when Jordan came along.

The Jazz with Mailman and Stockton were not average.

Not to mention they had to get past the Bad Boys in Detroit just to make it to the Finals

Chris Bosh is not and has never been a superstar. Lebron never had a truly healthy DWade. MJ is great. Generation before you thinks Wilt is the greatest. I think Lebron is. I'll say if Lebron wins this one he has a legit argument. Only two players would have a shot winning a title with this team. MJ and Lebron. Then again MJ always had Pippen. I just can't stand the people that hate Lebron bc he challenges your childhood heroes legacy. If he's not 1 then he's 2.

Jumping to conclusions.

I don't hate Lebron. I was just refuting the statement that MJ won titles with more talent against worse competition.
