I think he may be just as fast as Manziel, personally. You could see it when he took off for that long open-field run against Alabama. No one could keep up with him, and even when they did get him it was only on a shoestring tackle.

It really is. The other thing I noticed is that nobody seems to be able to tackle him. Iowa was especially bad at this. He just seems to elude being tackled firmly, almost like he's slippery.

I know this will upset some folks, but listening to Murf Baldwin on his podcast and he made some great points about Dobbs not being a top 4 QB in the SEC. I'm not so sure that Dobbs will be a great QB in the SEC. Good, but not Great. Similar numbers to what Mauty Mauk posted which was around 54% completion rating and 26TD's to 13 INT's.

I tend to agree with that, but I also think that Debord will help Dobb's accuracy and one thing Mr. Murf is forgetting is that Dobbs is an extremely smart QB and will learn from his mistakes.

Based on what I've heard and read about Dormady, I think he has a good chance to be better than Dobbs...and I'd agree, so far, that he's a good but not great SEC QB...so far.

Interesting note from Butch Jones today: RB Jalen Hurd is up over 240 pounds. Played near 225 last year.

I don't see QD surpassing Dobbs unless he's laser accurate throwing the football. The offense is just too explosive with a running QB who is as elusive as Dobbs.

I'm down with this. There isn't a 240 pound back out there with his speed. Its a perfect compliment to Kamara's speed and shiftiness without just being a dump truck.

Definitely a different kind of QB but I don't think that means the offense can't run as smoothly or even better. If Worley was as talented as QD, Dobbs would be an unknown at this point...and still a sophomore.

QD has wheels on him. I don't think he is as elusive as Dobbs, but he is much more elusive than Whorley.

Jalen Hurd was never gonna be a guy that was gonna get 70 yard or 80 yard TD runs. Kamara is the guy who will break those really long runs.
