Wickman, believe me when I say I hope you're right. But I'm thinking more of 24-27 or 28-27, winner interchangeable.

If our DT's have gelled by that time, they'll stop Collins and Williams. Outside of a stout run game, potentially one of the best in the SEC, their offense doesn't strike fear when they're matched up against our D.

We need to score about 21 to 24 points to win it and we've got the offense to do just that...by the third quarter.

It'll be a tough game, I don't doubt that for a second--Arkansas is a good team--but...I'd put BIG MONEY on the Neyland Stadium of old being resurrected from the near-dead this year.

It. Gon. Be. Loud.

And there's the difference....the crowd...and Dobbs...and Hurd...and Kamara...and a couple of guys named Maggitt and Barnett.

Boom!!

Headband,

If they had anyone left in defense, I would concede to your point.

And it's for that reason alone that I feel they're one of the most overrated teams in the nation...at least, so far.

I'm sure they have more than just warm bodies but Bielema hasn't recruited nearly on the level that CBJ has, so it's not like they're reloading. Plus, it's not just one impact player they're replacing, it's multiple players.

While I'm sure they have some talent, you don't just replace that kind of production...it takes time.

Hopefully they don't get it until after they play UT.

Arkansas plays a lot better than we give them credit. They beat the life out of Ole Miss last year and should've been Alabama. I think we win, but it will be close.

Their most impressive win was LSU. That Ole Miss team was broken emotionally after losing the game when their best player's leg exploded and he fumbled the ball.

I think Arky loses 4 in a row at the beginning of their season next year. Neutral A&M, at UT, at Bama, home Auburn.

Agreed...last year, they were a very good team and played several better teams to the wire.

They've lost a lot off that team since then.

Collins and Williams were stopped behind their LOS on 20% of their runs last yr.

I'm with Wickman and others on Ark. If we're 4-0, Neyland will be absolutely rocking and 119 would have a win over OU and snapped a 10 year streak on the road vs uf. Confidence will be sky high knowing they can now not only hang with, but beat the big boys.

Plus, our D may be the best Ark sees all year and with the holes they have to fill on their D I don't see them containing our offense with all the weapons we have to throw at them. If we get up 10-14 pts and they have to rely on their passing game, it's over. Not saying we blow them out, but I could see a fairly comfortable win for 119.

Even if we lose to OU, you know dang well Butch knows how important this game will be and will have 119 ready to defend Neyland and start a run to Atlanta with uga coming in the next week. JMO

I've said and will continue to say 14+ point win over the Hogs if there are no injury issues with key guys. Arky is one dimensional. Our D will play them man on the outside with a safety up in the box. Keep the DT's fresh and all will be well. Our O will score almost at will - for the reason that they will not be able to load up on any one area to slow it down. Balanced offense with adequate line play and great skill players keeps any D guessing, especially an unproven bunch like they have with all the guys that moved on. The final two factors cannot be ignored - UT at home and overall roster talent superiority.

Any Summer workout reports?

Of course. My incline BP 1RM is in the neighborhood of 305 lb. Legs are coming along nicely. Currently at 6'1 210 lb on average at probably 14-16% bf.

Just being a douche BB. Would really like to hear some reports myself. Although they may be a bit inflated / exaggerated, it gives me optimism for the coming season.

McNeil gonna be banging fools in that game.

Just spent the last two days on campus. As a parent I am blown away by the effort they put into the orientation and they all the tools they have to make my son a success. Love this university. Go Vols!
