So you medical peeps and I know there's a lotta you here... It's totally normal for a giant pump knot looking thing to suddenly show up on the knee I thought had healed up, right? I mean it only really shows in an obvious way when I bend it.

Does it hurt if you press on it?
Did you have surgery? (Sorry, cannot remember)
The rest of your knee is not swollen?
No redness? Knee doesn't feel warmer than surrounding skin?
Near your knee cap?

It may just be a small amount of extra fluid in your knee (joint effusion). That may be the first place that fluid appears in your knee.

Can you take a picture and post it on here?
JUST your knee :)

Not football or recruiting but if you haven't seen Mookie Betts steal two bases on one play with the shortstop holding the ball two feet from him, you need to. Even if you don't like baseball it's an amazing play. I've never seen anything like that before.

From Overton High School in Nashville and was committed to play at UT but signed with the Red Sox

You can contribute as much as you want to my charity.

Send me your 501C info and we can talk...
Put me on the board, have board meetings at halftime of the Tennessee games. Then I can write the season tickets, food, travel and lodging off as an expense associated with our charitable work... This could work:)

Thank you!
Cannot wait to show this to my son and his team. Always teling them that paying attention in baseball is key to excelling at the sport! He saw the 3rd baseman out of position with no one covering. He took full advantage of their mistake. You can see the pitcher trying to get there, but way too late!
:salute:

As a Sox fan, I love Mookie. Kid is special.

Rivals250 2016 MD WR Trevon Diggs:

"I've been hearing from coach Azzani and Tennessee a lot for the past couple of months," Diggs said of the Vols' level of interest. "It's really picked up in the last little bit. I would say that they're probably recruiting me as hard as anyone right now. They're really showing me a lot of love.

That attention has had the desired effect. Though Diggs doesn't have a firm date set yet he is now working to get down to Knoxville for a visit.

"I'm definitely going to make it down there this spring or summer for a visit," he said. "Tennessee is one of the places I haven't been to yet that I really want to see. I've heard a lot about them and now that I'm talking to the coaching staff so much, I feel like I owe it to myself to get down there and see what it's all about."

-No surgery.
-Yes the rest is swollen - either side of the patella has swelling and there's a spot on top of the patella with fluid (I haven't fallen but I think I twisted it real good last week when I initially injured it).
-No redness unless you look real hard for it and that could just be me trying too hard.
-Not any warmer than the other one

When this first happened it hurt to straighten my leg out, bend it all, or walk and when I did walk it was very unstable. The worst was getting up from a sitting position or god forbid squatting down (I stopped that right away). It hurt bad the first 2 days and slowly eased off until it only reminded me when I did something wrong. Everything pointed to a minor meniscus issue except there was no swelling, warmness, or discoloration at that time just the pain of a meniscus injury.

After about four of five days, I felt good. Only rarely did my knee hurt and it felt minor so I went up the stairs. Nothing happened the first time but the day after my second trip up the stairs, the knee is swollen pretty good.

Butch has that "IT" factor when talking to recruits. In the few times my kid has talked with him (camps and when he recruited JJ), Jr came away talking about how "down to Earth and personal" he is. Butch knows how to connect with these kids and has an incredible memory.

Jr met him for the first time at Blackman when he was recruiting JJ. My kid being the die hard Vol fan that we all are, ran up to him and talked to him in the locker room. Butch took the time to talk to him about kicking, grades, and his goals.

Fast forward several months to Specialists camp in Knoxville. Butch was addressing the campers when he walked by Jr. He said "I know you, you play at Blackman". My kid was blown away. How many kids does this guy see in a years time? Butch freaking remembered the conversation he had with this kid in the locker room.

He has a huge impact on recruiting. Kids like him. They can relate to him. You can see it in days like yesterday.

^^This is something that at least two famous politicians are very good at and no I won't name them because I don't want a political discussion but one became well known for how good he was at retail politics because he had that kind of memory you describe. It's important for people to feel like you at least know who they are and if Butch has that ability then our recruiting will continue to stay at a high level.

Personally, I'd kill for that ability.

Good news from practice today.

@Vol_Football: JANCEK: @EMoseley_4 had three picks today. He's back. He had mono, but he kept working and learning. He's come a long way physically.

Also

@Vol_Football: MAHONEY: @KylerGreens77 is showing that ability (like @ZachFulton72). He's attacking all three, tackle, guard and center.

@Vol_Football: MAHONEY: Having Coleman back, he was a lot better than I expected him to be. His snap location from center was good.
