How's your dad?

Better thanks.

Very difficult to diagnose stroke with him. He has a ton of metal in his back so no MRI. Has dementia from being exposed to Agent Orange in Vietnam.

Has good days and bad. Yesterday was a real bad day. His symptoms all pointed to stroke but thankfully have subsided this morning.

I knew he was alright late yesterday afternoon when the doctor walked in. I couldn't understand anything he was trying to say but then he told the doc a joke.

Thanks again for the prayers

We should have a DL that's as deep and talented as Mizzou has been the last several years, and a secondary that could rival LSU's. We still have JRM who I'd bet is one of the faster LB's in the conference, and we have a couple really good options at MLB. This year's defense should be top 20 (we were 84th in '13 and 37th in '14).

I think that article is selling our OL short. How many of those sacks recorded last season came with Worley under center?

Dobbs changed the dynamics of our entire offense.

Agreed, Volatil.

With Dobbs continued improvement, stronger and more experienced OL, and studs at RB, I think we're looking at a perfect storm that will make the OL in 2015 be night and day from 2014.

Dobbs changed the dynamics of our entire offense.

Worley was sacked 30 times: Utah St and Ark St each had two on him, UGA had three, Ole Miss had seven, Florida had six, and Oklahoma and Chatt each had five. Worley lost 180 yards (without counting sack yardage by FCS Chatt)

Dobbs was sacked 13 times: six times by Mizzou, twice by Bama (one or both of which could have been Peterman, I didn't dig that far), three times by Vandy, once each by Iowa and Kentucky. Dobbs was sacked for 90 negative yards.

Whether the argument is that his elusiveness prevented sacks or that the OL jelled over the second half of the season, the fact is you're right, our offense was completely different with Dobbs at the helm.

The wife and I's fortune cookies from last night. I'm feeling good about this season.

Those foreigners....they're always getting their synonyms mixed up....

It's supposed to be:

Orange.... To Reign

Edit: in re-thinking this, I think that's where you were going with that post. My wife often gets frustrated with me for thinking too literally. Apologies.

And Coleman Thomas at RT.

I don't think our OL is going to be 2012 or 2013 good, it's the weakest unit on the team (all other units are pretty strong) but if they consistently play at the level they played at after Dobbs came in last season, we will be in great shape.

BTW, from that same series on 247: (SAIP)

3) Tennessee (Pig Howard, Marquez North, Von Pearson)
Tennessee has an excellent blend of ability and experience in their wide receiver corps, a luxury afforded by Butch Jones opting to play so many freshmen over the past couple of years. Pig Howard is a senior, and will work at receiver as well as take carries out of the backfield utilizing his breakaway speed. North has all of the measurables a coach could ask for, and may turn into a dominant player for the Volunteers that most (including myself) believe he will be.

3rd behind TA&M and LSU
