I'm always in this thread so I figured great place as any. I got a new gig at Oak Ridge National Lab I leave the hell hole of Texas end of July and I start in August I'm very excited to get season tickets and be in the middle of God's country!

Hmmm...Pantex to ORNL?

As far as DOE sites go in Oak Ridge, ORNL is the country club. Be sure you skate by the main parking area and the cafeteria to watch the new interns roll in.

ORNL I came in to interview in May, it is a gorgeous campus! (in more ways than one!)

Turned on the Dan Patrick show today. Clay Travis is sitting in for him. Only listened for about 15 minutes while driving. Without surprise, Clay has his boyfriend James Franklin on for an interview. Didn't pay attention to the garbage they were spewing. Reminded me of those horrible Dooley years with Franklin and Travis's love affair on the radio. Miserable time. I don't know who I hate more, Franklin or Travis. Thank God those idiots are gone...

I saw an article with a bunch of tidbits about the college football schedules this year. Not surprisingly, Penn State was one they criticized for its OOC schedule. Their first game outside of the state is October 17 against OSU.

IMG Academy is producing a ridiculous number of top recruits.

With all that talent, could their 2015 football team beat a D3 or even D2 school?

They could definitely beat some of the weak, lower-level D2 & D3 teams. But they wouldn't stand a chance against most formidable college opponents. The size, strength, maturity, and experience of a college team would be too much for a high school team.

Anybody know the record for the most from one state? I'm going to assume that's the most ever from Tennessee.

Did the world forget how to shoot fireworks? How the heck these 2 NFL players blowing fingers off in their contract year? Jason Pierre Paul was rumored to have but they say now that he didn't buts still a serious hand injury. He does this before signing his big deal that is probably going bye bye. CJ Wilson of Bucs blew off 2 fingers in last year of his 2 yr contract so career is done.

Seriously guys.... You light the fireworks and run like hell. You don't hold them in your hand and play look at me I am cool for waiting until the last minute.

They have a new qb who will be in Neyland for his first road start. Their oline should have communication problems with the crowd noise in Neyland as well. They lost 4 olineman with a combined 145 career starts. Only returning oline starter is the center with 14. Their projected RT has 1 career start & LT has none(Maggitt & Barnett are gonna eat all night). They have 1 good wr in Shepard but that's it. None of their other returning wr's had more than 8 catches. Obviously Perine at rb is a stud but with their oline maybe being greener than ours last year I don't see putting up numbers like he did last year.

They have limited depth on the dline and secondary. LB's are their best group on D.

Just a side note...I know in a 3-4 D the LB's usually get more sacks and TFL's, but Barnett alone had more sacks and TFL's than their starting front 3 combined. Lol


This game has Cal '06 written all over it. I don't think this game will ever be in doubt. Neyland will be absolutely rocking. Butch/119 are on a mission to put cfb on alert that UT is back & I can't wait to hear all the bammers, dawgs, gators & the rest of the sec/nation say "Oh Shat, they are for real."

I think the line is definitely blurring between great FCS teams and bad FBS teams. There's just not much of a difference there. Hell, Vandy proved that there's not even much difference between an awful SEC team and a decent FCS team (Charleston Southern).

It won't matter if we take em to the woodshed. All the other sec fan bases will just sat ,wow the sooners must be garbage. They think we will never be good

I agree. Have you ever watched them play? Very well coached and technical. Reminds me a lot of Kansas state

It's a cool place, just watch out for deer on your drive in. I've seen 6 get hit on that drive from Oak Ridge Highway back to the portal.

That's why I don't play with them at all. Never got into that kind of thing and even cringe while watching friends do it. I will leave that up to the professionals, and I don't even have a $60 million dollar offer waiting for me.

The crap I pulled off with fireworks makes me so nervous for my own boys. I hope I teach them safer handling than my parents did with me... Which was NOTHING!

Lincoln Riley is a Mike Leach disciple...Mayfield already has the system down. Knight never really mastered the previous one.
