Colin Cowherd, who I typically enjoy listening to, just said he didn't understand why Tennessee football wasn't better. He said we're Ohio State south. We've got the fans, the facilities, the recruiting grounds, etc. Ohio State is always good. Tennessee is rarely good. There's no reason they shouldn't be better.
Soon Colin... Soon.
Colin Cowherd is old enough to know that's bull****. 800+ wins, 6 national titles, and 50 Bowls proves that. He said that to get a reaction, something he does a lot. He knows Tennessee fans are excited and will get riled up over something like that. Outside of about 20 years total, Tennessee has always been good.Colin Cowherd, who I typically enjoy listening to, just said he didn't understand why Tennessee football wasn't better. True, but like I said, he is old enough and smart enough to know that 10 years of struggles =/= "hardly ever good". He's just talking out of his ass because he knows better than that.

#24 Jalen Hurd
At 6'3" and 230 pounds, Jalen Hurd is one of the biggest players on this list. His frame doesn't make him look like a speedy back, but he definitely is one for the Volunteers.
Hurd led Tennessee in rushing as a freshman last season with 899 yards and five touchdowns. He reportedly ran a sub-4.4 40-yard dash in high school, making him a one-of-a-kind freak athlete at running back.
Now a sophomore, Hurd should continue to grow in skilland speedin Tennessee's strength-and-conditioning program. The result is a freaky-fast player who could break out even more in 2015.

I like Colin. He's more even-keeled and knowledgeable than most but (and he's said so himself, often), when it comes to college football, he's not an expert.
He's throwing stuff out there for discussion...it's July and baseball is all we've got.
