Butch: 'When you throw the football, a lot of negative things can happen.'

I'm really intrigued by what the offense will look like this year. I definitely think we will be run-heavy with Dobbs, Hurd, and Kamara, especially if Dobbs doesn't dramatically improve his accuracy downfield.

team will look alot diff in the fall.

Key to a good knee injection, make the doc use a 25 gauge needle. The Higher the gauge, the smaller the bore of the needle.

Most docs use a bigger bore because that's the way they were taught. Bigger bore = more painful.

sorry we are @1,000 miles apart.
I wish I was able to come to the O&W game. Could give you the shot while tailgating :)

You know my first thought was to tease you about doctors not being able to give injections or anyone these days (seems years ago there was more skill at blood draws and injections than today or maybe I was just lucky to always encounter docs and nurses who were skilled at it). What you're saying tho about bores and gauges makes complete sense. Besides that if we did the tailgating part right, I wouldn't feel a thing either way! :)

Awesome COL drills today. Love that initial pop from TK Jr and Evan Berry, as well as Randolph vs McNeil.

Tell us more insiders. This BAMA A-day game is boring me to tears.

The quarterbacks look further along than when Dobbs and Ferguson were freshmen in that open practice. Arm strength won't be a problem this year, at least I don't think so. We just need our receivers to get healthy.

In terms of offense, I would say we look a lot more like Ohio state than our offense of last year. Overall the thing I got the most of of the practice was confidence. The team believes and you can tell they never doubt themselves.

The thing about Serrano is that he has recruited well and continues to do it. But he has had several get drafted and go pro. College baseball is a different animal. You either have to recruit players who aren't good enough to go pro but develop into good players or those who tell you they want to go to college. He has taken two other programs to the CWS, so he can obviously develop and lead players to success. I am one for keeping him for at least another year or two. I believe he has another good class coming in .

This is what I'm saying. Give him another two years. Can't keep him forever with this win loss record, but with his background and recruiting he deserves more of a chance.

It really makes me laugh how often patients are referred to me because of my injection abilities.

The other trick is to make the skin taut so that the sharp edge of the needle slides through. Loose skin and the needle tears a hole...obviously more painful.
If the swelling continues get it checked out.

Agree with all of the above
