Yeah for real. I think he tried to but his school wouldn't let him or something.
I cannot even begin to express how much y'alls prayers have meant. The sheer amount of people praying for our little girl is incomprehensible. God is in control.
Ashlee has improved quite a bit since this morning.
They're hoping she continues to improve enough to extubate this evening or this morning and allow her time to recuperate enough for surgery, either Tuesday or Wednesday.
It's going to be a tough week but surgery should fix it. But..."if it's over our heads, it's under his feet."
Edit: I haven't slept in almost 48 hours so if this doesn't make sense in places....you get the idea.
also done with a brutal schedule.Sutton in 2014: 31 solo tackles, 4 TFLs, 1 forced fumble, 13 pass break ups, 3 INTs
VHIII in 2014: 31 solo tackles, 2 TFLs, 0 force fumbles, 13 pass breaks ups, 3 INTs
Their freshman seasons were really comparable as well. Sutton had more solo tackles, a sack, and 4 TFLs, but VHIII had more pass break ups and 1 more INT.
Barnett gets more love than Sutton, thankfully, but very few people/rival fans realize that we essentially have better versions of Myles Garrett and VHIII on our defense.
I'm posting this from Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. My beautiful four day old baby girl is currently intubated and has been diagnosed with a congenital heart defect and is going to require heart surgery.
All I ask for is prayers. We're getting reports that are as good as we can hope for at this point but surgery is forthcoming.
Thanks in advance.

I think I remember his choice that he wanted to finish the year at his school. And that's understandable. I mean, he lives on the other side of the country, and senior year is big. I can understand a kid, especially one as social as KMac, wanting to stay around and go to prom and moon everyone at graduation, and all of that stuff. The great thing about him is of course, he has a great support system around him with access to the Raiders facilities and staff.
I selfishly would have loved to have him as an EE, but, completely understandable why he wasn't. It's a lot to give up in some ways.
However, for guys like Butcher and Jennings and Dormady and Chance Hall, who are in positions where they are a little disadvantaged, or are coming off injuries, EE is invaluable.
I'll just be glad when fall camp hits, and everyone is healthy. I'm as big a fan as any, but it's just harder to get excited about the O&W when half of our team isn't going to be playing in it. But, I'm glad that we have that luxury of sitting them now, and getting these EE's and second stringers some invaluable reps.
But man, I'm jonesin for the fall when all of Team 119 is here.
It's stuff like this that makes me think Cam is just gonna go off this year. He gets very little to absolutely no respect/recognition for his play. He effectively takes away an entire side of the field every Saturday. And people drool all over themselves for VHIII. It drives me crazy. I like VHIII's game, but there isn't a CB in the nation I'd trade Cam for. My man Cam gonna make sure errbody know his name this year.
