After my tirades after the Ole Miss and Florida losses last year, it would be best for me to take a VN sabbatical, should that occur. Though, hopefully I will have maintained the same perspective I have learned over the last few days...patience.

The Vandy neonatal docs and nurses are incredible

She's much better. She's breathing over her vent. Abx have been d/c'd. Lasix down to just bolus dosing. Kidneys have returned pretty much normalized. Liver functions are nearly normal. The d/c'd her Versed at 4 am today and opened her right eye just barely enough to look at me and her mama.

Recovery track is is progressing to the point that they tentatively are thinking surgery to fix her coarctation and VSD on Wednesday. Post-op recovery for a week to 10 days here.

My birthday is May 9th. While we'll not likely get any rest those first few days after being home, I can think of no better birthday present in my entire life than to bring my baby girl home.

UF's schedule next season sets up pretty poorly for them and for McElwain's first year on the job.

They get New Mexico State right out of the gate, which should be a win. But then they have East Carolina, which is always a good team and will be looking for revenge after losing a close one to the Gators in the Birmingham Bowl.

Then they play @ UK, which will have a better team than the one that narrowly missed beating the Gators in the Swamp last season. Revenge will factor in there as well.

Then we head to the Swamp, and well....we SHOULD win that game but who knows.

Then a stretch of Ole Miss, Missouri, LSU, and UGA.

There's a decent chance UF starts 2015 1-7 or 2-6. They get a break with Vandy after UGA, so that's another win, then South Carolina (away game), Florida Atlantic, and FSU at home.

UF's ceiling next year is 6-6 IMO, and they could be as bad as 3-9 or 4-8.

None taken.. But, I've been predicting weather own here since winter.

The latest Guidance model's have the rain moving in earlier. The early rain will help stabilize the air.

Severe weather is certainly a possibility but I look for most of the rain to be out of the area by 3.

It stands for "Chain Moving Gang."

Kamara and Hurd believe they can produce enough first downs together that they already are referring to themselves as "CMG," which stands for "Chain-Moving Gang." Kamara said the nickname came from running backs coach Robert Gillespie.
